Every autumn Emmer Green Pharmacy offers the NHS flu vaccination, free for those who are eligible. It is quick, it is on your doorstep, and it is the best protection against a winter of flu.
Who it is for
The NHS flu vaccine is free for people aged 65 and over, people with certain long-term conditions, pregnant women, carers, frontline health and social care workers and some other groups. If you think you may be eligible, ask us and we will check.
What happens at your appointment
We start with a short, private chat about your health, any medicines you take and any allergies, so we can check the service is right for you.
The vaccine is given in the upper arm and takes a moment. You can carry on with your day straight afterwards.
